Lord’s Cupboard Food Assistance

Many years ago, First United Methodist Church created a food bank for the food insecure of our community. The Lord’s Cupboard has since evolved into a stand- alone ecumenical non-profit organization that remains committed to easing the food needs of our community. As we go through this time of national uncertainty, the Lord’s Cupboard continues its mission and stands ready to help.

The Table represents a new worship opportunity on Wednesday nights at First United Methodist Church. We know that Jesus regularly brought his disciples together at the table to learn about living a redeeming way of life. Join us each Wednesday at 6 PM in Fellowship Hall to share in this experience.

Fall Rummage Sale for Missions

Our church has a long history in the support of missions - local, state, national and international. Key financial supports of this missional outreach are the Spring and Fall rummage sales. It is time to start de-cluttering your attics, basements, and closets to support this worthy endeavor. Our Fall sale will be held from October 8th through 10th with preparation work sessions beginning October 5th. Items dropped off sooner can be arranged through the church office. Proceeds from these sales have averaged almost $9,000 per year in each of the past 20 years!
