Missions

As United Methodists, we believe true faith is affirmed through service to others. Currently, our congregation is exploring avenues to better care for children, youth, and young families as well as reduce violence within our community.

Our Church also provides space for community groups and organizations to meet and operate, such as:

• the Lord’s Cupboard

• Alcoholics Anonymous

• the Manna Meal

• Weigh Down Club

  Stage Door Productions

Additionally, through various fundraisers such as our bi-annual Rummage Sale and Annual Youth Soup Supper, our community raises money to support various local, national, and global causes, such as:

• AFES (Athletics for Education and Success)

• Fort Dodge Community Foundation

• D/SAOC (Domestic/Sexual Assault Outreach Center)

• Gateway to Discovery

• Church of the Damascus Road

• Women at the Well

• UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)

• Heifer Project

• Support of two United Methodist Missionaries in:

  • Waveland, Mississippi and

  • Zambia, Africa
